Join award-winning author, photographer, and educator Rick Darke for What Is Wild and Why It Matters, a free national webinar on Tuesday, April 28th at 10 am CT. Discover how inviting a bit of authentic wildness can create a vibrant landscape that sustains you and local biodiversity. This national event is presented in collaboration between Wild Ones and Homegrown National Park.

Wild Ones Teams up with Shademakers to help you select and purchase the right native plants for your yard!  Volunteers from Wild Ones will be available in the Ohio Native Plants display to answer questions and help you plan.

Tour the beautifully designed and maintained grounds at Dick Munson's home, retired professor of botany and former head of the Miami University -Hamilton plant conservatory. Enjoy the variety of native trees and micro environments.

Board Member and Founder of Miami Valley Wild Ones Charlie Stevens has been nativizing his large back yard on the outskirts of Oxford for decades.  One issue that has continued to impact the landscape is erosion caused by stormwater runoff.  Join the homeowner as he is given advice and practical remediation steps form the staff of Butler County Soil & Water Soil & Water District.
